Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into a good relationship with you.
I am Laurent Richard the only son of late Mr Richard Konan. My father was a well known business man and a politician in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory coast, before his sudden death from a brief illness. My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special. 
Before the death of my father on March 2002 in a private hospital here in Abidjan he disclosed to me that he has the sum of Five Million, Five Hundred Thousand United State Dollars (USD.5,500,000) depsited in one of the Security Finance Company here in Abidjan, that he used my name as his only son for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund as family valuables. 
That I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice who will assist me for the investment and claiming of this fund.
I am honourably seeking your assistance in the follows: 

For you to represent as my late father's foreign partner or family friend for the claiming of the fund. And also to take of any investment while I will come over to continue my education.
Moreover, I have resolved to offer you 10% of the total sum as compensation for your effort and another 5% to cover any expenses which you might incure during this process.
